NEO-INFORMAL AND OTHER CURRENTS
In this hall some works by Franco Rossari, librarian and the last person inhabiting the palace, are exhibited. In the big house where Giuseppe Diotti used to live, Franco Rossari had created a studio where he painted in his free time, while the reading rooms were the exhibition halls, featuring, on the same shelves as the books, historical finds, succulent plants, and other objects. The Museum dedicated the Hall for temporary exhibitions to him. His taste and sensititvity prevented paintings, documents and antiques from getting lost once and for all.
Other than the works by Rossari a group of art works (by Bargoni, Sturla, Casagrande, Hoellering, Cherchi) is exhibited here, representing the exhibitions taking place in Casalmaggiore, organized by the local committee of the Association “Friends of Palace Te” and the Mantua Museums. Other exhibitions were dedicated to artists such as Brunivo Buttarelli, Gianfranco Ferroni, Vittorio Magnani, Roberto Sguazzi, Matteo Bergamasco.
