Luigi Chiozzi was a great local benefactor, collector (he commissioned the first version of Pontida Oath to Diotti) and patron.
The Charity founded by him, which put one of the first Aporti's model kindergartens at the city's disposal, offered economic help to local young artists for the academic improvement of their studies (the support to Asilo Chiozzi allowed the sculptor Antonio Cerati's formation).
An exceptional memorial to Luigi Chiozzi, realized by the purist sculptor Pietro Civeri, is at the entrance of the St. Stephen's Church.
